Public Training Terms & Conditions

These Training Terms & Conditions were updated on 20 December 2019.

In order to secure a place on a course, the full attendance fee is due and payable upon booking (or payment of the invoice) and at least 10 working days ahead of the course, whichever occurs first. Each place booked is sold subject to:

  • availability
  • receipt of payment
  • acceptance of these Hassell Inclusion terms and conditions

Booking a delegate place constitutes an acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Accessibility requirements

Delegates are asked to email us at learning@hassellinclusion.com, at least 10 days ahead of a course, to make us aware of any accessibility requirements that would enable a delegate’s participation.

Pre-requisites and post-course assessments

Delegates must ensure they satisfy any pre-course requirements; refer to course specification.

Where accreditation is associated with a course, a delegate must achieve the pass mark set for the assessment, within 5 working days of attendance of the course.

An administrative fee will be charged in the event that a delegate wants to re-take a course assessment.  This re-take must be scheduled within 10 working days of attendance of the course.

Food and Beverages

Beverages are provided upon arrival and during the morning and/or afternoon breaks, as appropriate to the course duration.   A full-day event will also include lunch.

Participant Cancellation, Transfer or Substitution

Where a participant is unable to attend a course, and provides at least 10 working days’ notice in writing to learning@hassellinclusion.com,we will:

  • offer an equivalent place at the next available event, or
  • offer a refund (less an admin fee), or
  • accept a suitably qualified replacement delegate.

Cancellations notified less than ten working days before a course will not receive a refund.

Course Cancellation or Rescheduling

On occasion, it may be necessary for Hassell Inclusion to change the location of a training event, the course date or – where it is unavoidable – cancel or postpone a course to a future date.   In such cases Hassell inclusion will endeavour to provide delegates as much notice as possible.  If a delegate is unable to attend the re-scheduled course – or provide a qualified replacement delegate – a full refund or credit for any pre-paid course fees will be given.

Hassell Inclusion Limited will not be liable for any other costs incurred, including: delegate travel or residential accommodation charges, or any consequential damages, even if we were advised of them.

Where a course is cancelled, due to circumstances outside our control, Hassell inclusion will take all reasonable steps to offer a place on the next equivalent available event rather than offer a refund.

Health, Safety and Security

All delegates must agree to comply with reasonable security, health and safety requirements in effect at the course venue.

Insurance

Hassell Inclusion cannot be held responsible for accidents to delegates, or for damage to or loss of a delegate’s personal property, howsoever caused.  Delegates are therefore advised to make their own insurance arrangements.

Note

Any typographical, clerical or other similar accidental error or omission made by us in respect of your booking shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.
