How did you get into accessibility?

I got into accessibility, initially, through front-end development. My background is building digital products. I met a senior sponsor who was passionate about digital accessibility, which gave me the opportunity to move into a small UX team which was taking on accessibility as well. As I moved through the organisation, I became more and more passionate about the impact that accessibility can have on large and small organisations.

What’s the one thing you’ve done in accessibility you’re most proud of?

One of the recent things I am most proud of is helping create a native mobile accessibility standard for a major client and seeing that standard being used by teams to help designand build accessible solutions in a sustainable and repeatable way.
