How did you get into accessibility?

I got into accessibility initially as an IT manager for a membership organisation being asked to advise companies when the first version of the Web accessibility guidelines came out way back in 1999. From this, I found accessibility a great way to partner my interest in psychology and technology, and from there, I moved into full-time accessibility consultancy and training.

What’s the one thing you’ve done in accessibility you’re most proud of?

I am proud of developing and running a training programme that enabled over 40 people with little or no knowledge of accessibility to be able to be fully-fledged Accessibility auditors of web and mobile sites.
